Early Years Sensory Music
and Dance Workshops 'Happy Hum' provides fun, sensory
and interactive workshops for babies, toddlers and preschool children. Happy Hum sessions are friendly and fun, with a clear structure
using songs, rhymes, stories, signs and movement. I use a wide range of sensory resources (e.g. instruments,
puppets, parachute, lycra, lights, balloons, scarves and bubbles.) 'Happy Hum' sessions aim to encourage sensory
learning and expression for both parents, babies and children and to learn new skills and songs to enjoy
at home.
'Happy Hum' can tailor the sessions to suit age groups from babies to school age, not forgetting
parents, grandparents and carers! Newborn babies and pre-school children alike can enjoy and learn from the interactive and
stimulating workshops.
Regular community workshops for babies and preschoolers are run by Karen Barbier a primary teacher and singer originally trained in Dance and Drama at
Birmingham University. Karen, (a Mum herself!) hopes to encourage fun and confidence in music and movement for all the
family.
I also provide workshops for baby, toddler and pre-school groups, school and nursery settings and children's parties.
By using this site you can find out about 'Happy Hum'
