'Happy Hum' aims to engage
babies and young children in music and movement in a fun, safe and stimulating way. Each session is tailored to suit
the age and ability of the children and the needs of the group. During the class children, parents and carers will experience
singing, rhythm and movement. They will also have the opportunity to use musical instruments, puppets, props and sensory materials
to enhance their music and movement making experience.
Workshop example

· A topical story or rhyme with puppets or soft toys to share
· A sensory activity based on a song or theme using play dough, feathers, water, sand, bubbles,
balloons or lights.
· Action, bouncing and movement songs
· Playing instruments
· Songs and rhymes using the parachute, lycra, feathers or
colourful scarves.
· Lullaby
and goodbye song.
